At Arriva we offer development programmes from the very start of your career. If you are looking for a practical programme that allows you to work and learn at the same time, then an Apprenticeship may be the right choice for you.
What does an Apprenticeship with Arriva look like?
Our apprentices work across our business while receiving specialised training. As an apprentice you will be guided and mentored by senior specialists and you will get to know the company from the ground up. At the end of your apprenticeship you will gain a recognised qualification and have the opportunity to continue your career at Arriva.
Typically, apprenticeships at Arriva last between 1 and 4 years and focus on technical and operational areas such as:
- Office administration
- Bus driving
What happens when you finish your apprenticeship?
There are many growth opportunities for apprentices that have successfully completed the programme:
- You will have increased your capabilities for current/future roles.
- If you have shown high performance and potential to grow further, you will be able to apply for the Arriva Graduate Programme.
- If you wish to continue your studies after completing the apprenticeship programme, in some cases Arriva supports you obtaining your University Bachelor Degree.
Arriva collaborates with various schools and educational institutes all over Europe to offer great development opportunities. Apprenticeship opportunities and aspects like compensation, duration and structure of the programme differ per country.
