Arriva has recently expanded its European bus service operations into the emerging Serbian market. With responsibility for regional, international and charter transport in the Pozerevac region, Arriva is also the biggest international operator in Belgrade.

In Serbia, the city market is partially liberalised with around 30 per cent open to private operators. Its inter-city market remains highly fragmented and exclusive contracts are awarded in the regional bus market.
With the acquisition of Veolia Transport Central Europe’s operations in 2013, Arriva has become the largest international operator in the capital with a strong position in the Pozerevac region as well as the school and personnel transport markets.
