Arriva Yorkshire and The Jonathan Ross BBC Radio 2 Show live!
23 November 2007
Jonathan Ross and his side-kick Andy are set to leave the studio behind, on Saturday 24 November 2007, and venture out to Wakefield to present the show live from Arriva Yorkshire’s bus depot.
Earlier this year, one of Jonathan's quiz contestants who works at the depot, invited the show up to Wakefield and Jonathan agreed, just as long as the bus drivers dressed in Victorian ball gowns! The drivers said they would so the show is keeping their promise.
On the day, Jonathan will introduce special guests including comedian Alan Carr and famous band Athlete will perform live. Jonathan is also joined by the successful bidders who pledged money to pay a visit to the bus depot in the BBC Radio 2 Children In Need charity auction.
The event will also mark the launch of 16 brand new luxury vehicles, which will operate on Arriva’s 110 Wakefield to Leeds route. One of the 16 vehicles will be unveiled as Mr Ross' very own namesake bus.
