North West Leicestershire holiday makers, commuters and business travellers can now enjoy a direct link to East Midlands airport, with the launch of the ‘Airlink Coalville 155’ bus service from Arriva Midlands, in partnership with Leicestershire County Council and East Midlands Airport.

Connecting residents between Coalville, Castle Donington, surrounding villages on route and the Airport, the new Airlink 155 service operates seven days a week, from as early as 4am, right through to midnight every day.

Two new low floor easy access buses operate the route with a striking Airlink 155 livery, along with user friendly wide aisles to accommodate even the largest of suitcases!

Keith Myatt, communications and media relations manager for Arriva Midlands said: “We are extremely excited and proud to be launching this airport link.  More and more people in Leicestershire are using buses, which helps to tackle road conjestion, improve air quality and help people to get out and about within their communities.”
