Arriva is delighted to announce three appointments within its UK bus business.

Today, Jonathan May joins the group as Managing Director of Arriva North East. Jonathan has a strong track record in the bus industry with a career spanning nine years with FirstGroup.

Additionally, Ralph Roberts has been appointed to the role of Director and General Manager of Arriva Scotland West.  Ralph, who currently works in the group’s technical services, brings deep experience of the bus industry, both in the UK and overseas.  He will start his new role on 5 November.  Ralph’s appointment has come about due to Liz Esnouf’s decision to focus full time on her commercial role in the North East.

Chris Hopkins will also join Arriva, early December, as Commercial Director – UK Regions. Chris has extensive commercial and finance experience gained in a variety of businesses, latterly as Commercial Director of Whitbread plc’s pub and restaurant business.
