Arriva Yorkshire have invested over half a million pounds in seven new single deck buses for use on the 126/127 Wakefield to Dewsbury route from September 2007.
The new cleaner efficient vehicles have all been route branded in an eye catching livery and are all fitted with a nine camera CCTV system.
Paul Adcock, operations director for Arriva Yorkshire, said: “We are very pleased that we have been able to invest in this new fleet of vehicles which are going to be a great enhancement to the service.
"We really hope that our passengers enjoy travelling on these new vehicles and hope that it will encourage non bus users to jump aboard and start making savings on car parking charges as well as doing their bit for the environment.”
The 126/127 route has a daytime frequency of every 10 minutes and the latest timetable can be found at www.arrivabus.co.uk .
