Local MP for South Derbyshire , Mark Todd is visiting the Arriva Midlands Swadlincote depot on Friday 14 July to officially open the latest Learning Centre in the business. Arriva Midlands has worked in partnership with the Trade Union Congress and Learning Skills Council, who jointly funded a new Learning Centre at Swadlincote depot.

Learning centres are being set up across the UK providing computers so that employees and their immediate families can access 'Learndirect' courses and the Arriva Learning and Development Gateway.
