Arriva wins EasyBus contract

Arriva plc has agreed contracts to operate EasyBus services from Luton Airport to London .
Arriva will take over the current operations on the Luton Airport to London route, and, in line with EasyBus' strategy, will grow the service level by April 2006. Service frequencies will increase during peak times to every 20 minutes and longer operating hours will be introduced.
In the south of England , Arriva operates over 1,400 buses from 24 locations outside of London , and over 1,400 buses in the capital.
Mike Cooper, managing director of Arriva UK Regions, said:
This is a good contract win for Arriva in a promising market. We will be focusing on growing the service levels from April this year.
