Arriva appoints managing director for Arriva the Shires and Essex

Arriva plc, the major European transport services organisation, has announced the appointment of Keith Spicer as the new managing director of Arriva the Shires and Essex.
David Martin, deputy chief executive for Arriva plc, said:
I am delighted that Keith is turning his considerable skills and experience to this new role and am confident he will bring the imagination and creativity needed to clearly add value to our business now and in the future.
Mr Spicer was previously managing director of the Group's sightseeing division, The Original Tour. During his time in that position, Keith played a key role in managing and expanding a customer-focused business, and introducing the first wheelchair accessible open topped bus fleet in the capital.
Applications for the post of managing director at Arriva the Shires and Essex are being sought from suitable candidates.
