Arriva gives business park workers a free ride!
16 March 2005
Arriva is rewarding workers at Inchinnan Business Park who entered a prize draw for free bus travel.
The competition promised a chance to win free travel vouchers and was designed to encourage more people to choose the bus to travel to work.
Ian Craig, director and general manager for Arriva Scotland West, said:
We are very pleased by the numbers of businesses and individuals that participated in this initiative and hope that by raising awareness of our services to this area even more people will be able to benefit by choosing the bus.
Members of the Scottish Parliament, Wendy Alexander and Trish Goddard, are both supporters of increasing use of the bus services already running into Inchinnan Business Park .
Ian Craig added:
We are delighted that Trish Goddard MSP was able to spare the time to come and make the prize draw which gives 22 employees from six different companies a chance to try the bus for free. We hope that when they experience how relaxing it can be being driven to work, they will be encouraged to try the bus more often.
The winners are employees from Aulds, Eclipse Blinds, Chubb Security, Prime Staff, TRS and Teknek – all based at Inchinnan Business Park.
Information on tickets and services is also available from Arriva's website – www.arrivabus.co.uk or via traveline 0870 608 2 608.
