Arriva London is supporting local rugby league team, London Skolars, and is set to be the official shirt sponsor for all matches in the Northern Rail Cup competition.

Dave Jones, Arriva's commercial support manager explains:

Arriva supports and encourages community involvement and we are delighted to be able to support a club that offers sporting opportunities to so many young people in the area. We've had a long association with the club and are delighted to be the main shirt sponsor for such a prestigious cup competition.

London Skolars chairman, Ian McNeill, added:

We are delighted with Arriva's decision to stick by our club - it's partners such as Arriva who provide the backbone to clubs such as ours.

This club is committed to playing its part in developing the surrounding community in conjunction with the various stakeholders.

Ian added:

Providing greater opportunities for our kids is what we are about and that is what we understand fits so well with Arriva's objectives in the community.

London Skolars are based in Wood Green, as are Arriva London's headquarters.
