Major investment in Inchinnan leads to head office relocation

4 August 2003

Arriva Scotland West has made a £250,000 investment improving and developing facilities at its Inchinnan depot. Engineering, office and drivers' areas have all benefited from the investment - and new disabled facilities have been introduced.

Arriva Scotland West's director and general manager, Ian Craig, said:

The investment we have made in Inchinnan is going to benefit all our employees. Changes to rest areas means that drivers have a more pleasant environment to spend break times in, new inspection pits mean engineering work can be undertaken more efficiently, and by relocating, administrative and management functions we can now link even more closely with the day to day operation of local bus services.

Arriva Scotland West operates local bus services in Paisley, Glasgow and across Renfrewshire. The Inchinnan depot houses 82 buses, operates 15 services and has 212 employees based at this site.
