Good public transport is the lifeblood of any community, but we go beyond this in seeking ways to serve our communities in the UK and mainland Europe.
Our Corporate Responsibility Committee is chaired by an executive director and comprises representatives from across the group. It continues to work towards our vision:
"As a people business, we value, encourage and celebrate the contribution our employees and others make to the communities we serve."
Our community relations policy focuses on the communities the Arriva Group serves.

Partnership working with suitable organisations is a feature of our community relations programme. We aim to build long-term relationships with community partners, not just for the benefit of the charity or community organisation, but also for the benefit of the company. Our support may be financial or practical, and sometimes involves the direct support of our employees.
Many of our employees give their time to local community groups and projects. We recognise these efforts through our Arriva Community Actions Awards initiative, which makes cash awards available to employees for their community organisations.
