Arriva owns 80 per cent of Eurobus which operates through VT-Transman, a joint venture regional, urban and contract bus operator in Hungary.

The regulated bus market is dominated by the public sector and there are around 17,000 buses. Privatisation of the bus market is being considered.

Our market entry, and our linking up with an established Hungarian company, places us in a good position to develop by further acquisition and growth.
